Cannabis 101 and FAQ

Understanding Cannabis

Typically, cannabis strains have been categorized into three main categories. They are Sativa, Indica and Hybrid. Sativa plants are known for their height, and long thin leaves. Indica plants are shorter bushy plants with round and broad leaves. These terms identify their botanical origin as seeds. The cannabinoid and terpene content, in consideration with the genetic origin of the strain, will determine the effects and medical benefits of a specific strain. Hybrid strains are a mixture between Sativa and Indica strains. Due to many generations of cross-breeding, most modern cannabis strains are hybrid.
