Halloween in Hartford starts at The Tea House, where there are no tricks and the treats are adults-only. 1) DIY Haunted Forest Walk 

Don’t be spooked by the “DIY” here; it’s all about your imagination. 

Wait ‘til it’s dark, and invite your friends over to share a Fireside Hash Pre-Roll. (Bonus points if you smoke it fireside while telling ghost stories.) When everybody’s feeling right, take the gang to Hurricane Forest Wildlife Refuge for a scary stroll into the woods. The pre-roll’s hybrid flower will have everyone feeling just elevated and tingly enough to wonder…is the boundary between mortal and immortal really blurred on All Hallows’ Eve?

2) Gory Daze 

Everybody’s favorite local Halloween bash, Gory Daze, is going down on Saturday, November 1, in downtown White River Junction. The entire village is invited to wear their most frightening costume and walk in the parade before ending the night at The Corn Ball, where you’re sure to hear Monster Mash at least twice. Dracula and his band, The Draculas, will be playing, after all. 

While you and your Halloween team get ready, take a hit of Dirty Taxi off your new Coffin Pipe to get into the spirit of the night. 3) Stargazing in Upper Valley 

The Green Mountain National Forest has dark skies, free from town lights and pollution. It’s the perfect place to lie back under the light of the moon and let the cosmos trip you out.
